This past Friday, Onslow County Pregnancy Resource Center officially opened at their new location off of Henderson Drive. To know where this facility started and to see where they are now is a huge testament to not only those individuals who work and volunteer there, but also to the community as a whole. Donations of all sorts from money to baby clothes to time and services is what fuels OPRC. But to really know what they do there, you have to experience the atmosphere of people that truly care about their patients and community.
Services that the Onslow Pregnancy Resource Center (OPRC) provide include: classes for dads-to-be, post-abortion counseling and sexual risk avoidance programs.
If you are looking to get more involved in Jacksonville, check them out-they are always looking for volunteers (whether it's time, resources or services). They have numerous events throughout the year and there's tons of ways to get involved. http://www.oprcfriends.com/
